Aww! Pat‘s his daughter’s biggest fan. The former Wheel of Fortune host made a dad joke to his daughter, Maggie, when she talked about needing a fan.
“It’s so hot out I might need a whole fan club,” Maggie captioned her Instagram post on August 1.
In the video, the WoF social media correspondent walked down a street. She wore a tank top, mesh shorts, sneakers, and sunglasses, with her hair pulled back in a ponytail. She held a water bottle in her right hand.
“Guys. It is so hot out today,” Maggie said to the camera. “I need a big fan with me or something. So, if anyone has any-.”
She got interrupted by her dad jogging by. Pat wore a white t-shirt, shorts, sneakers, and a baseball hat. “Hey!” he said. “I love your work. I’m a big fan.”
Maggie sighed. “That won’t help,” she said.
Fans couldn’t help but crap up in her comments. “This is so good,” a fan said with laughing emojis.
“WOW, a big fan Pat-ssed you by!” another joked.
“I mean you did get one big fan! Hi Pat!” a third laughed.
“lol this makes me giggle !!! have a great day,” a fan replied.
“I miss you dad’s humor on the show,” another said. Pat was known for his dry sense of humor on the game show. He couldn’t pass up making a dad joke for Maggie’s followers.
CBS News reported that Southern California, where the Sajaks live, is currently experiencing a heat wave with some areas going into the triple digits. An extreme heat warning was issued by the National Weather Service until Tuesday, August 4.
Pat might be Maggie’s biggest fan, but in May she deemed the former host as “difficult.” They lip-synced to a sound from Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“Have you ever come across somebody more difficult than yourself?” Maggie lip-synced over Kourtney Kardashian’s voice while sitting down at the kitchen island.
Pat turned around from the cabinet he was standing in front of, holding a glass, and mimicked Scott Disick’s voice, saying, “You’re up there.”
“Had to get my sass from somewhere,” Maggie captioned the Instagram post on May 24. She has gotten Pat to do videos with her on social media since he retired. Clearly, she was joking about calling him “difficult,” but fans jumped to Pat’s defense.
