Has Daredevil: Born Again been renewed for Season 3?
Daredevil: Born Again‘s Season 3 renewal was confirmed by Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television, and animation at Marvel Studios, in an interview with IGN. “We are greenlit for Season 3, and we start shooting next year,” Winderbaum told the outlet at the time in September 2025.

According to a report from THR, Daredevil: Born Again will be the show’s final season at Disney+. The announcement comes just after production wrapped a couple of months ago, and is timed with showrunner Dario Scardapane’s departure as his contract was up and not renewed. Post-production is reportedly in its final stages, with Scardapane’s exit happening in the middle of that stage. Marvel hasn’t made any official announcements surrounding the show’s ending.
When will Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 premiere?
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 doesn’t currently have a premiere date, but as mentioned above, Vincent D’Onofrio teased that filming had wrapped as of July 2026, hinting at a return on the near horizon. “That’s a wrap. 3rd Season @daredevil Born again,” D’Onofrio wrote alongside an image of Kingpin. Considering Seasons 1 and 2 of Born Again debuted in March 2025 and March 2026, respectively, we’d imagine a similar window is anticipated for 2027, but stay tuned for official details or announcements from Disney+ and Marvel.

Who will star in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3?
Official casting for Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again hasn’t been announced, but Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Krysten Ritter, and Vincent D’Onofrio are all set to reprise their roles. Meanwhile, it was teased by Mike Colter that he’d be back as Luke Cage alongside Finn Jones‘s Danny Rand. Additionally, Elodie Yung was spotted on set reprising her role as Elektra, as was Wilson Bethel portraying Bullseye. We imagine other favorites will return, but stay tuned for the official confirmations as we approach Season 3’s arrival.
What is Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 about?
A storyline for Season 3 of Daredevil: Born Again hasn’t been shared, but as fans will recall from Season 2’s ending, Matt had been imprisoned after revealing his identity as the vigilante Daredevil publicly, and Kingpin was on the lam, exiled to a remote island to avoid authorities. Luke Cage was reintroduced and reunited with Jessica Jones. How that will carry on into Season 3 will remain to be seen.
