The second season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder is now on Netflix, and with it, a new mystery pulls Pip into another dangerous web of secrets, lies, and devastating consequences. Based on the second book in Holly Jackson’s series, Good Girl, Bad Blood, the story follows teen sleuth Pip Fitz-Amobi (Emma Myers) as she tries to step away from sleuthing, but is yanked back into a new mystery when Jamie (Eden H Davies), the brother of friend Connor (Jude Morgan-Collie), goes missing. Pip and boyfriend Ravi (Zain Iqbal) race against time to find him, uncovering more secrets about their little town of Little Kilton.
Since the second season adapts the second book, fans will no doubt ask if there will be a Season 3 for the third book in the series.

Will there be a Season 3?
Official confirmation for a third season of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has not yet been announced by the BBC or Netflix.
What is the third book about?
The third book in the series As Good as Dead‘s synopsis reads: “Pip is used to online death threats, but there’s one that catches her eye, someone who keeps asking: Who will look for you when you’re the one who disappears? And it’s not just online. Pip has a stalker who knows where she lives.”
As Good as Dead shifts into significantly darker territory. It follows Pip as she deals with online infamy, a stalker, and links to a local serial killer.
Who will star in Season 3?
Emma Myers will no doubt return as Pip Fitz-Amobi, and Zain Iqbal will probably return as her boyfriend Ravi Singh. Expect Henry Ashton to also return as the malicious Max Hastings, as well as Pip’s friend group, including Jude Morgan-Collie as Connor Reynolds, Asha Banks as Cara Ward, and Yali Topol Margalith as Lauren Gibson.
Also expected to return are Jackson Bews, Annabel Mullion, Adam Astill, Kamari Loyd, and Anna Maxwell Martin.
How did Season 2 end?
Warning: Spoilers ahead for Season 2 of A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. The second season ends on a dark note. Jamie was kidnapped by the “Child Brunswick,” a.k.a. Stanley (Misia Butler), the security guard at the gold club, who, as a child, was forced to aid his serial killer father in choosing his victims. Charlie Green (Jack Rowan), Pip’s seemingly friendly neighbor, was actually the brother of one of Child Brunswick’s victims, and followed Pip to get revenge on the man who helped murder his baby sister. Charlie shoots Stanley in front of Pip, causing PTSD in the teen.
To make matters worse, because Jamie could not testify at the trial, Max Hastings escapes punishment by the legal system, much to the dismay of his victims and Pip, and is now a free man.
However, Jamie is freed from his imprisonment and reunited with his family. So there is some happy news.
At the end of Season 2, Pip appears severely traumatized and questions whether justice actually exists at all. It will take next season to resolve these loose ends.
