News previously came out that Ree Drummond’s son was arrested over drug charges. Since then, a further update was shared in the case. The Food Network star’s son could be facing further legal issues.
Ree Drummond Is Known To Many Through Her Blog & Food Network Series, The Pioneer Woman
Drummond is a media personality who first gained fame through her blog, The Pioneer Woman, which discussed her life in rural Oklahoma. In 2011, she became the host of a Food Network show of the same name.
In her personal life, Ree married Ladd Drummond in 1996, a member of the wealthy Drummond ranching family. They have five children together.

As previously reported, Ree’s foster son, Jamar Goff, was arrested this past September after an altercation with police. He had been found sleeping at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. According to court docs, Goff claimed to be homeless. He was also believed to have checked into rehab a few months before the incident.
When asked, Goff reportedly told police that he was waiting for someone to sell him “ice.” This is another name for methamphetamine.
Initially, Goff was let go, but police later learned there were warrants out for his arrest. After tracking things down, things took a further turn when he ran away from the police. He also allegedly slapped a cop when they tried to cuff him.
Jamar Goff Was Welcomed Into The Drummond Family Back In 2018
In a later update from TMZ, Alabama prosecutors asked to revoke Goff’s bond from a 2025 criminal case, citing domestic violence allegations. The judge then signed off on an arrest warrant a few days later.
An officer reportedly shared that over 1.8 grams of meth on Jamar. At this time, it is believed that Goff is in police custody and has not yet bonded out.

The Drummond family reportedly welcomed Goff into their family back in 2018. He reportedly played football with Ree’s two sons and was in need of a home.
In her book, Frontier Follies, Ree previously wrote, “Fostering a kid was never something Ladd and I pursued or felt called to do, but Jamar’s circumstances presented themselves to us in a way we couldn’t ignore. Long story short, all six foot five inches of him showed up at our house one afternoon, bag in hand, ready to move in.”
According to court docs, obtained by TMZ, Jamar Goff entered a drug and alcohol treatment center in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 5 … and he told his case manager that he had an alcohol dependency problem and “would like to be detoxed.” https://t.co/9kIawFFXSu
