Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Dorit Kemsley has been bashed for overspending while her house is in foreclosure. Now she is being slammed for looking like a horse with her veneers. So, when did she get them done, and what is so bad about them? Keep reading for more details.
Dorit Kemsley Mocked For ‘Horse’ Teeth
Over the years, Dorit Kemsley has been called out for her penchant for glam and constantly changing her hair. Moreover, she is from Connecticut, yet she uses an English-style accent. No one can understand what she is saying, and when they travel, she often adopts a new style and sound. That is just part of who she is, and viewers have come to accept it, even if they do not love it. Dorit knows how to shop, and she has never kept that a secret. The mother of two has a passion for fashion, but it became a problem when she and her family started struggling financially.
Her home was facing foreclosure, but she did not slow down her excessive spending. In fact, it seemed that she only got worse. One thing that she had done was get veneers in Season 12, as she was a teeth grinder. Therefore, she wanted to have teeth that fit her mouth rather than her smaller ones. It made sense, as she was passionate about the Homeless Not Toothless charity and worked with dentists. Unfortunately, the smile that she was left with has left viewers up in arms, as they feel she looks like a “horse.”
Dr. Sam Saleh was the one responsible for her new smile in 2020, but Dr. Lior Tamir went over what she had done. He explained how it changed her mouth and her overall smile:
“What did Dorit Kemsley do to her teeth? If we take a look at the before photos, what you’ll notice is that her teeth were pretty small compared to her lips. The color and shade were pretty muted. If we look at the after photo, you’ll notice that her teeth are significantly larger, much whiter, and give her a lot more lip support.”
Fans did not think it was worth it for Dorit Kemsley, but rather her dentist did her dirty:
- her original teeth look real and suit her small frame and face. Now they are a bit horsie.
- Not a fan of piano key veneers…
- Her original teeth look natural; the new ones look like they belong on a marionette.
Save The Money
RHOBH fans felt that Dorit Kemsley should have saved her money and put it elsewhere. However, it was noted that she may have gotten them done for free to promote the doctor and his services. Regardless, if she did shell out the cash for the new teeth, it was believed she could have been more financially responsible:

- Yep that’s what I would spend my money if my house was in foreclosure. These people are living in another universe!!!
