Carmella Garcia is the only newcomer on Season 20 of RHOC, and so far, she is a hit with viewers. She is strong, powerful, and assertive, which makes her the perfect adversary for OG, Vicki Gunvalson, who returned for this milestone season. Carmella Garcia Is Taking On Vicki
When Carmella Garcia joined RHOC, Vicki Gunvalson immediately did not care for her. She questioned what she did for work and if she was as big in real estate as she claimed. Her portfolio and position seemed quite large, but Vicki was not buying it. She would act as if she could not remember Carmella’s name and was consistently cruel to her. Now, longtime viewers know that Vicki does not care for newcomers, although she immediately gravitated toward Shannon Beador in Season 9. However, Vicki has been gone from the show as a full-time cast member since Season 13 and was just given her orange back ahead of this season.
At the beginning of the last episode, one of Carmella’s daughters was mocking Vicki. She was mimicking her facial expressions, leading one viewer to say this:
- Very disrespectful for Carmella’s daughter to make fun of Vicki
Yes, it is not polite to make fun of anyone, especially of elders, but other fans did not seem offended by Carmella’s daughter. Rather, they felt that this was what Vicki Gunvalson deserved after years of treating her co-stars like garbage. Moreover, she has been horrid this season of RHOC and even RHUGT, where she has not been received well either.
Therefore, after seeing what Carmella’s daughter did, viewers were not mad at all:
- All Vickie does is belittle people. She deserves it.
- Vicki has been VERY disrespectful to her mother soooooo
- You mean Vicki is disrespectful of Carmella. She’s done since day 1.
- I thought her children were lovely and spot on. Vicki has been disgusting

It seems that the trend amongst RHOC viewers is that Vicki Gunvalson needs to be fired again. Even in this thread regarding Carmella Garcia’s daughter, fans mentioned that Vicki’s time is up. Carmella had joked that everything has an expiration date when referring to the OG of the OC. Therefore, maybe Bravo needs to listen to her:
- Vicki is horrible! She needs to be off the show again. I cannot stand her.
- I didn’t know how much I’d Dislike seeing her on the show
