‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ Season 18 Queens Return With Feuds

RuPaul’s Drag Race will see the return of some recently eliminated queens. As they get into competition mode, some old wounds might get reopened. In fact, what fans can expect next has already been teased in a recent preview video.

RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Season 18 Recently Made Its Debut Earlier This Year

RuPaul’s Drag Race first made its debut in 2009 on Logo TV. Through the show, series host RuPaul searches for “America’s next drag superstar,” taking on the role of host, mentor, and main judge. Over the years, the show has also seen a number of international versions.

In 2023, the series switched to MTV. Recently, the series premiered Season 18 on January 2, 2026. As the competition goes on, however, a few queens are set to make their return.

Throughout the season, even queens who fans thought were going to be frontrunners ended up getting eliminated. This included Vita VonTesse Starr, Mia Starr, Athena Dion, and Jane Don’t.

However, all of the eliminated queens are expected to return to battle it out again in “All RuPaul-A-Paruza Smackdown.” This Lalaparuza lip sync smackdown comes with a chance at a $50,000 cash prize. While eliminated queens have returned in past seasons, one first for the show is that this will feature all RuPaul songs.

One Queen Will Make An Entrance With A Tribute To A Classic Horror Icon

A teaser for the event already teased some of the drama fans can expect. Ciara Myst is reportedly seeing red, making an entrance in an outfit covered in blood, complete with a sash, as an homage to Carrie. She shared, “Sometimes you get voted down at the bottom, and you get eliminated because of your peers. And it feels like a bucket of blood got dropped at you at prom.”

In a confessional, however, Jane Don’t didn’t think that the pop culture reference held weight. She shared, “Carrie White was a high schooler who had telekinetic powers. You just did a bad poem.” Jane will also likely have a chance to speak with Ciara face-to-face.

In the “Drag in a Bag” challenge, the queen made outfits based on what was left in eliminated competitors’ suitcases. Jane and Ciara will be linked up. Despite winning that week, Jane accused Ciara of sabotaging her by leaving her with what was left.

As noted by Parade, Jane shared, “You being the Wil E. Coyote of drag doesn’t mean it wasn’t sabotage. You just painted the train tunnel on the side of the cliff and it ended up hitting you.” As Ciara responded to this, “Are you bringing it up to center you in the conversation again?”

This Special Reunion Will Drop On April 10, 2026

However, there is still some love in the room. Briar Blush, who previously fainted during critiques before her eventual elimination, will return. However, she revealed that she had been sick with pneumonia during filming and discovered she had contracted sepsis.

Thanks to this, Briar was under doctor’s orders not to participate. That said, the girls made sure to express their sympathies, including Athena Love Dion, who previously argued with Briar. Fans will get to see the reunion in full on April 10, 2026.
