He seems to have thought a lot about this! Wheel of Fortune host Ryan Seacrest shared how he would play the game show in a rapid-fire question video.
“Putting Ryan Seacrest on the spot in between taping episodes to get his unfiltered views on Wheel of Fortune #WheelOfFortune #GameShow,” the Instagram video was captioned.
He started off by introducing himself. Seacrest shared that he is from Dunwoody, Georgia, and played football growing up. “I’ve always wanted to be the host of a game show. I’m a contestant now, but I’ve always wanted to be a host. This is very, very Meta for me,” he joked.
When asked if he would buy a vowel or spin again, Seacrest said that he would buy a vowel if he had only one letter. “That would be my strategy out of the gate,” he said.
“Sometimes, I think to myself, I would be okay at this, maybe even decent or good, and then I think maybe not,” Seacrest. “It just kind of depends. I’m not good under pressure of being a contestant on anything, so I think hosting is probably better for me.”
When it comes to what category he would pick for the Bonus Round, Seacrest said he had “thought about this a lot.” “I think I would go with ‘What Are You Doing?’” he said. “By the way, I’m so excited to be in the Bonus Round, and that trip that I won.”
“Thank you. Seacrest out,” he said, waving, as the video ended.
