Savannah Guthrie Has Been Keeping Very Busy
Despite her mother Nancy’s disappearance in February, Savannah Guthrie has remained very busy. The Today Show anchor returned to her post in April and then agreed to host the new game show, Wordle. Many wondered if she was doing too much and not allowing herself to properly grieve her mom. However, this is what gave her structure and peace, so she went with it. Now, she is on hiatus again from her morning talk show, but she is making sure to pop up in other places so fans do not miss her for one second.
The anchor just popped up on the Jimmy Fallon and Keke Palmer-helmed game show, Password. She made the surprise appearance on Tuesday, September 1st, and a preview aired the same morning. This was quite a surprise given that she had been on a two-week break. No one would have expected that she would pop in on another show, but there she was.
Some fans were thrilled to see her on Password and could not wait for the episode to air. However, others made cruel jokes regarding her missing mother, who’s been gone for seven months. At this point, Savannah Guthrie and her siblings just want answers so they can rest. Moreover, they want to be able to let their mom rest after what has happened. They have been begging and pleading with the public for help, but have been left on “read,” which is devastating.
