David Bromstad enlisted help from a special person on the latest episode of My Lottery Dream Home.
The show’s Friday, June 5, episode saw Bromstad reunite with best friends Dawn and Colleen, the latter of whom was searching for a house for her daughter in Rochester, New York. The two women previously appeared on Season 18 of the HGTV series earlier this year.
“Since I had so much fun with the besties, and I kept talking about my bestie, Greg, the entire time, I thought I would bring Greg along,” Bromstad said while in the car, driving to the client’s home. The camera panned over to show his bestie, Gregory Scott, sitting next to him.
En route, Scott hilariously suggested that they prank the women into thinking he had to take over for Bromstad for the episode. He did just that, and Dawn and Colleen welcomed Scott with open arms.
“I haven’t done this before. So, tell me how this goes. What are we gonna do?” Scott asked the women before Bromstad snuck in, stating, “What you’re gonna do is you’re gonna give me a hug.”
Throughout the episode, Bromstad and Scott helped find the perfect home for Colleen’s daughter, following a budget of $350,000 to $400,000. “I want my own spinoff,” Scott joked at one point, to which Bromstad sarcastically stated, “So cute.”
Ahead of the episode’s premiere, HGTV’s Instagram page posted a clip of Scott correctly remembering the square footage of one of the homes they were touring. “I did good! That was perfect!” he quipped.
Underneath the upload, Bromstad lovingly commented, “My bestie is the best bestie ever! Aren’t we adorable?!”
Fans also gushed about the duo’s onscreen chemistry, with one user writing, “Oh wow, that is a lot of handsomeness. I will be watching.” Another added, “Any bestie of yours is a friend of mine.” Someone else shared, “@bromco, you and your bestie need to document a summer road trip. Thelma & Louise style, less violence and more meeting of Brad Pitt type.”
A different person posted, “You 2 need to have a series of your own. Your expressions and his personality. I will never stop watching you David!!!!” A separate commenter stated, “Cheers to your bestie David, You both Rock!!”

Friday’s episode featured a flashback from Dawn and Colleen’s original episode, in which Bromstad got tearful while reading the women a sweet text he received from Scott. “No one is like us, girl. We’ve come from the deepest depths and risen to the stars,” he read. “We’ve crashed, burned, gotten up, slid down life’s hardest mountains. You’ve always been my rope when I’m barely holding on.”
The text continued, “You are my Frodo in the dark, my Thelma with a getaway plan, my Romy on the dance floor, my Maverick in the danger zone, and my Lucy when it’s time to cause a little chaos. And still, we’re just getting started.”
