Tuesdays are all about NCIS this fall on CBS.
The network is airing three of the shows in the hit franchise back-to-back this fall — NCIS, the newest addition NCIS: New York, and the prequel NCIS: Origins — and shared a look at the casts of all three getting ready for the new seasons. The franchise’s official Instagram account uploaded photos of all three, from table reads and the stars just gathered together, with the caption, ” Three shows. One franchise. BIG table read energy. #NCIS #NCISNY #NCISOrigins”
The photos, which you can check out below, include: Michael Weatherly at NCIS table read, sitting between Brian Dietzen and Wilmer Valderrama; NCIS: New York stars LL Cool J, Scott Caan, Shane Harper, Jacqueline Byers, and Devin Druid; and Mark Harmon with the rest of the NCIS: Origins cast (Austin Stowell, Kyle Schmid, Diany Rodriguez, Tyla Abercrumbie, Mariel Molino, and Caleb Foote). You can also see Wilmer Valderrama, Katrina Law, Gary Cole, and Sean Murray at the table read for the mothership.
“Crazy to see the return of the OG’s!” Foote wrote in the comments. “LFG,” Valderrama added with a fire emoji.
This fall will see two major returns to the NCISverse. Michael Weatherly is reprising his role as Tony DiNozzo for a season-long arc on the mothership; no other details have been released. Mark Harmon, meanwhile, will be appearing onscreen in all 10 episodes of the prequel “as part of a present-day mystery tied to his ‘90s Camp Pendleton days in an action-packed story that unfolds all season long.”
LL Cool J reprises his NCIS: Los Angeles role of Sam Hanna on the new New York spinoff, with Scott Caan playing a new character (despite his Hawaii Five-0 character being part of the universe, thanks to crossovers).
