Nick, April, and Jennifer Davis were eager to add another wife to their family. April and Nick had been together for over a decade and had raised her son since he was an infant. Then, she met Jennifer and it just seemed like the right fit for their family. She meshed very well with Nick so April and Jennifer got married and took Nick’s last name, making their own little family. However, they were not done and then they found Danielle. She was in her early twenties and curious about the lifestyle. Yet, she had never been a part of it so it was a huge adjustment. Even April and Jennifer noted how green she was but she chose to marry them.
The biggest problem arose when they wanted more wives but she felt she had just married them. It was so much to process as she wanted to enjoy newlywed life. Plus, Jennifer had just had their daughter, Vera so she wanted to savor that so she left. She does come back but fans are wondering why. They even started a Reddit thread to discuss it:

Stuck In A Trap
From what Seeking Sister Wife fans are saying, it appears that Danielle Davis is trapped. She is young, as some mentioned and early twenties is a touch time. Additionally, she fell in love with the family and now does not want to be alone. However, they do have a unique dynamic where the women work and Nick Davis stays at home, raising the kids. This may be a lot for her and then to court more women during the adjustment period could send her over the edge. Hopefully, she figures out what makes her happy and not just live for everyone else.
