Despite her ups and downs in relationships and Hollywood, Shanna Moakler has tried to keep up her blonde bombshell status. Now, she is revealing that there was a time when being beautiful came at a cost. In an Instagram post, the mother of three shared a throwback modeling photo of herself. It’s black and white and she looks frail as she is perched on a bed sitting on a windowsill.

The caption reads: “I just found all these old modeling photos from when I first started out, I posted some in my story, this was actually from a shoot I did for Hampton magazine in st barts, I was 18! Lil baby shanna 😂I weighed about 105lbs then and was told I was fat by agents and to lose weight lol.” Clearly, there is no need for her to lose weight at all so the fact that she was fat-shamed is absolutely tragic.

Instagram Reacts

Obviously, social media had a very strong reaction to Shanna Moakler’s post. Her fans and followers had this to say. “That’s how it use to be back then with agents, so glad times have changed and they are more accepting to plus size now,” one noted. Another added: “Omggg! You are so tiny! I was a teen in the 90s and it was so terrible how thin girls were made to feel like they needed to lose weight. It was such a toxic time body image wise. It’s so nice to see that narrative finally starting to change. You look beautiful now and then. ♥️”
