Sharon Osbourne Hospitalized Before 1st Father’s Day Without Ozzy
Sharon, Jack, and Aimee Osbourne gathered in Washington, D.C., in May to witness Representative Victoria Spartz enter legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne’s legacy into the Congressional record. It was one of many ways the family honored the late Black Sabbath singer.

But Sharon Osbourne skipped the unveiling of a statue of her late husband at France’s Hellfest this month. She took to social media to share that health issues kept her away. “I’m sorry I couldn’t be at Hellfest for the unveiling of Ozzy’s statue. Unfortunately I had an unexpected trip to the hospital earlier in the week,” she wrote on Instagram.
The former talk show host, 73, didn’t elaborate on the reason for her hospital stay. Sharon Osbourne has battled several illnesses over the years. She was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in 2002 but has been in remission for years. She’s been open about her mental health struggles over the years.

Sharon Osbourne played a major role in Ozzy recovering his career after getting fired from Black Sabbath in 1979. She helped him launch a successful solo career. He reunited with the iconic band several times, including for his final performance. The Osbourne family is determined to keep Ozzy’s legacy alive for generations to come.
Jack Osbourne and his mom attended the Licensing Expo in May and shared details on using technology to keep Ozzy Osbourne alive. “Elvis died 50 years ago, and everybody knows Elvis. I just want that for Ozzy,” Sharon Osbourne said.
“He will exist digitally as himself for as long as we have computers. Technology has come such a long way to where it’s almost drag and drop,” Jack Osbourne shared.
“You can ask Ozzy anything, and he will answer you in his own voice – and the answers will be what Ozzy would have said. We’re going to take it all around the world. People can talk to him and he will talk back,” Sharon Osbourne said about using AI to keep Ozzy alive for fans.
