A lot of Sister Wives fans of the show can’t help but wonder if Christine Brown was the family’s scapegoat. In fact, there’s some speculation that she might have been the one who might have ruined the harmony within the family. Here’s what you need to know.
Sister Wives: Christine Brown The Whole Family’s Scapegoat?
Many Sister Wives fans and critics alike have been taking to social media sites like Reddit to comment on how many of the other sister wives kind of stepped back when things were going wrong. As many fans can recall, Kody Brown was hoping to have all of his wives live with him in a polygamist house in Flagstaff, Arizona.
The one person who was the most against it was Christine Brown. In fact, she was the one who was the most vocal about not wanting to move. This made the other wives wonder if they were making the wrong decision, too. A lot of critics believe that moment began Kody’s downfall with his wives. Things haven’t been the same since then.
Back in October of last year, Christine Brown did open up about her future. She also revealed what she’s been doing since she relocated to Utah with her daughter Truely. As many Sister Wives fans already know, Christine Brown was the first to pull the plug on her marriage to Kody Brown in 2021. She was then followed by Janelle and Meri. The only person that is left with Kody is Robyn. However, she’s the only sister wife who is legally married to him, too.
Christine Brown Was The First To Pull The Plug
According to ET Online, Christine Brown just wanted things to be fair. Yet, she also didn’t want to disappoint the other wives, too. She said, “I made a promise to Kody and everybody else that I would stay in Sister Wives as long as we have the show just to be fair. It’s what our family’s been doing for so long. I feel like it would be disloyal if I decided to not be part of the show.”
When asked about having her own potential spin-off show, Christine Brown admitted that she would say yes. She said, “So as far as Sister Wives goes, I’ll still be doing things with Janelle quite regularly. As far as a spin-off, dude, I’m totally open. I have no idea what it looks like. But absolutely, that’d be just fun as heck.”
Now, as far as whether or not Christine Brown truly was the family’s scapegoat remains to be determined. That said, she’s definitely looking at moving forward with her life. Christine Brown’s also no longer worried about what was said and done in the past.
