When former third wife, Christine Brown left the plural family, it was Robyn who felt abandoned. She believed that her dreams were being crushed and that she would no longer have the future she had hoped for. The same thing happened when first and second wives, Meri and Janelle Brown followed suit. Oftentimes, viewers search for actual tears, which they fail to find. Now, with the tell-all preparing for the fourth part, a Reddit thread was started to discuss why she cries all of the time.
Though it has since been removed, the OP suggested that Robyn (fake) cries as much as she does to take up time. That way she never actually has to talk out the problems, answer questions, or say how she really feels. She might truly not be sad over the breakdown of the family Rather, she is biding time and avoiding questions. Janelle Brown and Christine Brown have been fairly open with how they feel. As for Meri Brown, lived her best life at her B&B, acting like she had no idea there was a problem with Kody. Yet, Robyn cried, talked about the porch, and what she was losing.
