Craig Conover has been part of a number of reality shows, but it all started with Southern Charm. Recently, he shared some big news about the show. During the share, he also hinted at a “secret” he kept from a co-star, which he shared already got him into a bit of trouble.
Craig Conover Was A Cast Member Of Southern Charm During Its First Season
Conover is a media personality who became known to many through the Bravo series, Southern Charm, appearing as a main cast member during the first season. Following this, he appeared on Summer House and its spin-off, Winter House.
Fans previously saw Southern Charm premiere Season 11 back in November 2025. Since then, Conover has shared a big update with fans, complete with a behind-the-scenes story.
Speaking on an episode of the “Good Guys” podcast, Conover confirmed, “We just wrapped season 12 of Southern Charm.” Looking back at his time on the show, he shared, “We’ve been filming for 14 years, which is crazy.”
Conover Shared That The ‘Secret’ Already Got Him In Trouble With One Of The Producers
The reality show star didn’t give too much away on what fans could expect this season. However, he did tease that there would be a fun story between him and Madison LeCroy. This was something he also assured he didn’t spoil before filming.
While not revealing much about the secret, Conover shared, “This is what producers don’t realize is, like, there’s something that happens this season that I kept a secret.” He also explained that “you can’t talk about things off camera, or you shouldn’t. That used to be a strict rule.”
Whatever it was, Conover shared that this “secret” even got him in trouble with one of the producers, who thought he had already shared it with Madison. He explained, “Me and Madison have a scene this year … and there’s a big thing that happens this year.” He continued, “Her and I had traveled together for something and when I was about to tell her on camera — I’d been waiting days to tell her this — one of the showrunners accused me, [saying], ‘I know you already told her, so let’s just get this over with.’”
Conover revealed that he took offense at being accused of this, sharing, “I was like, ‘Motherf***er!’ I was like, you think I f***ing told her off camera?’” Ultimately, though, he seemed remiss at not being able to divulge more during the podcast, sharing that whatever the secret was had been “eating” him inside.
