Tom Sandoval Attempts Redemption With Podcast

Does it pay to be the most hated man in America? Months after the world was riveted by Tom Sandoval’s torrid affair with his Vanderpump Rules co-star, the former SUR bartender is telling his side of the story.

Sandoval’s ex, Ariana Madix, is raking in the dough with multiple sponsorships and competing on Dancing With The Stars.

Not to be outdone, Tom Sandoval appeared on two Fox shows this fall: He was recently unmasked as the “Diver” on Fox’s Masked Singer and remains in the competition on the network’s Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.

The Pump Rules star also recently jumped into the podcast game by launching Everybody Loves Tom. So far, his guest list has been limited to his bandmates in his cover band and Bravoholic Jerry O’Connell.

On the latest episode of Special Forces, Sandoval served as a punching bag for Bachelor alum Nick Viall.

Are Tyler Cameron & Nick Viall Still Beefing?

Speaking of Nick Viall, he’s had a complicated relationship with fellow Bachelor Nation alum Tyler Cameron. Both reality stars are on Season 2 of Special Forces, alongside Sandoval and 11 other celebrities.

Tyler Cameron may not consider Nick Viall as family as he does his other Special Forces co-stars, but it seems the two have buried the hatchet.

Cameron recently appeared on The Viall Files podcast and cleared the air with his former nemesis.

Kelly Rizzo Reveals Differences Between Special Forces Co-stars Tom Sandoval & Tyler Cameron

Among the celebrities competing in Special Forces is Kelly Rizzo, late standup comic and actor Bob Saget’s widow. She chose to exit the competition in the latest episode, leaving her free to share details about her experiences.

During her time in Special Forces, Rizzo experienced different sides of Tyler Cameron and Tom Sandoval. As team leader, Cameron was more empathetic and encouraging, comforting Rizzo mid-mission when she chose to quit.

“I just remember sobbing into his chest because I was just so emotional, and he was just being so kind. I remember just being like, ‘Tyler, you’re amazing. Thank you,’” Rizzo said of the Bachelorette star (via Us Weekly.)

Tom Sandoval took a vastly different approach to her breakdown. “Tom yelled at me,” she recalled. “He’s like, ‘If you quit now you’re letting your team down.’”

However, Kelly Rizzo also defended the Vanderpump Rules star, noting that he took the “brunt” of it from the training staff. “They were giving him zero emotional love,” Rizzo said of Sandoval’s experience on the show.

Does it surprise you that Tom Sandoval & Tyler Cameron would have such different approaches? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Special Forces airs on Mondays on Fox.
