McBee Dynasty star Steven McBee Jr. admitted that he felt influenced by his brothers to marry his now ex-girlfriend, Allie Eklund. They began dating at the start of Season 3, but have since split. Yet, when they were serious, Steven began thinking about a future. Keep reading for more on what he had to say.
Steven McBee Jr. Ready For Marriage?
McBee Dynasty fans first saw Steven McBee Jr. in a relationship with Calah Jackson. They met on Joe Millionaire and tried to make it work, but it fell flat. Steven made it clear that he wanted a wife, but that was very hard to find, and he was not giving up. Enter Allie Eklund, and she would soon appear in Season 3. A lot has come out since the season ended, and it has not been great, but Steven has admitted he did want to marry Allie. Yes, he felt that he was madly in love with her, but there was more to it.
Steven noted that seeing his brothers in committed relationships plus having children made him want to rush with Allie:
“Inherently, there’s a little bit of pressure because my family is who I hang out with. And so they’re all married up, starting their families.”
At the same time, the 33-year-old did feel that Allie Eklund was everything he wanted in a woman and more. Therefore, he felt that he might as well put a ring on it and make it official:
“Allie was pretty spot on with everything that I was hoping to find in a woman. So I was like, ‘Hey, this is it. I found what I’m looking for. I’m good. Like, there’s no time to waste here. Let’s just do it.’”
Fortunately, for both Steven McBee Jr. and Allie Eklund, they ended it before it got too far. He accused her of cheating, and she has since claimed that he was controlling. His ex, Calah Jackson, has backed up her claims.
A Happy Ending?
Even though Steven McBee Jr. is currently single, he is not mad that his relationship with Allie Eklund played out on television. He likes to watch how happy he once was, and it appears to give him hope. However, he does claim that he wishes things were different, but Allie Eklund could care less. She learned that this is who he is and that this was not her fault by any means. Therefore, she is moving on and living her best life.
