“It’s OK. They need to hear this.” That whisper begins the trailer for this new thriller coming to Netflix.
The film, The Whisper Man, is coming to the streaming service at the end of August, and the official trailer has now been released. As the video preview above shows, Tom (Adam Scott) turns to his estranged father, Peter (Robert De Niro), for help when his son, Jake, is taken by a serial killer who was arrested 30 years ago and is serving life in prison.
As the chilling note warns, “If you leave a door half open/soon you’ll hear the whispers spoken/if your window is left unlatched/you’ll hear him tapping at the glass/if you’re lonely sad and blue/The Whisper Man will come for you.” And Jake hears that tapping.
