Sugar Bear Thompson has moved on with his romantic life. That being said, what happened to his ex, Jennifer Lamb Thompson? It looks like she has found happiness, as well.
Sugar Bear Finds Love In All The Wrong Places
Viewers first met Mike ‘Sugar Bear’ Thompson on Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. He was in a long-term relationship with Mama June Shannon. Together they were parents to Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson, a former toddler pageant competitor. Their lives were showcased on the TLC reality series where they co-parented their daughter. They also helped raised June’s three other daughters from previous relationships. It was a quirky television show that became somewhat of a guilty pleasure. Although June and Sugar Bear never married, they had a commitment ceremony but that did not last. The couple ended up on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars but they could not work things out as he had proven to be unfaithful.
June moved on with Geno Doak while SB found love with Jennifer Lamb. They ended up getting married on June’s new show in 2017. Fans did not care for Jennifer whatsoever and she was always getting into Alana’s business. Earlier this year, the couple revealed that they had split and everyone seemed quite happy about that. Last month, he shared that he had a new girlfriend on the heels of a cancer scare. He seemed over the moon about this and was ready to share his love. As for Jennifer, she was ready to spill out why their marriage failed. Luckily, she had seemingly moved on, as well.
Moving On And Out
Jennifer explained that Sugar Bear had been unfaithful during the time that they had been married thus this is what caused their downfall. In a social media group, a post by Jennifer circulated that she had met a “great guy.” His name is Greg and she is really happy about him. Additionally, she changed her Facebook status to say “In A Relationship” as of June 27th. Her followers seemed very excited for her:
- “So happy for you. You deserve nothing but to be happy”
- “That’s awesome”
- “may you have all the happiness in the world”
- “Beauty, brains, confidence, health and now a sincerely lucky man blessed to call you his partner! So many blessings being sent to you and yours”
- “so happy for you. He better be a good one.”
It will be interesting to see how this plays out though, with Sugar Bear not currently on television, it is doubtful viewers will see it. He does appear to be filming something as cameras were there during his consultation for his full-body makeover. That was when the possible mouth cancer was discovered.
