Bruce Perreault has left many Survivor fans scratching their heads as they attempt to decipher his hard-to-read tramp stamp.
There’s nothing like an intriguing Survivor mystery to add a little spice to the island life. No, this mystery doesn’t involve a covert affair or a secretly formed alliance. There isn’t any bad blood boiling behind closed doors, either. And no, there won’t be anybody being sent home because of it. This mystery is one filled with dried ink and a touch of natural aging. Bruce Perreault has a tramp stamp, and fans desperately want to know what it says.
In a post added to the Survivor subreddit, user beta_nerd uploaded a picture that has many fans talking. “Does Bruce have a ‘DAD’ lower back tattoo? No judgement, just looking to settle a debate,” writes beta_nerd. The screenshot included in the post shows a close-up of Perreault’s back as he faces away from the camera. Placed on his lowered is a somewhat blurry shot of a tramp stamp. Although the tattoo is relatively hard to see, it is clear that it consists of three letters. What those letters actually are has created a hilarious debate among Reddit users.
Bruce’s Strong Crazy Uncle Vibes
Early on in Season 45, it was obvious that Perreault was quite the character. His large personality is oftentimes loud, but he has earned the respect of both fans and most of his fellow contestants. That’s why he was dubbed “Uncle Bruce” on the reality show.

That’s why when Perreault’s tramp stamp was first spotted by Survivor fans, it wasn’t exactly too surprising. “It says Fun Uncle buddy, get your eyes checked,” joked user TylorClegane.
More responses soon began to chime in. This time with a more serious approach to solving the mystery. “I see BAD. If you look closely at the right vertical line in the B there is a small indent. Also, it has a loop in the left vertical line that the D doesn’t have, but if they were the same letter in the same font you’d think they’d be identical. Think it is trying to say “bad a$$,” wrote xshap369.
Other Theories On Bruce Perreault’s Tramp Stamp
Of all the possible explanations for Perreault’s tattoo, “BAD” does seem like the most likely. The shape of the letters does match up fairly well. But without definitive proof or a clearer shot of the tattoo, it’s still too soon to close the case.
User shelve66 speculates that the letters could actually spell out Perreault’s initials. “His last name is Perrault, so I am guessing it is his initials B A P (can’t confirm first letter is a B and don’t know what his middle name is),” they wrote.
“I think it’s his initials. BAP. But if it was BAD and then his “a$$” I think that’s absolutely hilarious. In defense of Lower Back Tattoos, a lot of young Gen X/Older Millenials, AKA Xennials, have these. They seemed like a good idea at the time. It’s not really our fault,” wrote menunu.
