When Christine Brown left Flagstaff for Utah, there were a lot of perks. One of the biggest ones was that she was able to be with the rest of her family. She was especially excited to watch her granddaughter Avalon grow and make new memories. Yet what caused her to have to beg recently to see baby Avalon?
Christine Brown, The Epitome Of A Mom And Oma
From the beginning of Sister Wives in 2010, Christine was known as the main caretaker of her and second wife Janelle’s children. It was one of the great benefits of being in a plural family. Janelle admitted she preferred to be out of the home and working but Christine prided herself on being the homemaker. She also loved being with all of the children and said she felt all of the kids were just as much hers. It was super easy in Utah because all three original wives and the kids were under one roof. In Las Vegas, all the wives lived in their own homes, experiencing true autonomy for the first time. Christine ventured out and got her real estate license with Janelle.
Eventually, she got involved in the MLM business and found great success while still enjoying the mom life. It was easy to be involved with all of the kids since the wives lived in a cul-de-sac. Unfortunately, when the Browns moved to Flagstaff, they had a property that was not ready so they had houses that were far apart. Though she was close to Janelle, she was very much on her own. She had to fight for Ysabel to get her scoliosis surgery and even brought her on her own.
The pandemic caused an immense amount of stress but now bright spot was the announcement that Christine’s daughter Mykelti was pregnant. Christine headed to Utah with a few of her kids for the baby shower and was there when baby Avalon was born in April 2021. When she decided to leave her marriage to Kody, Christine moved to Utah. A big blessing was being able to be with her kids and baby Avalon.
No Time For Oma?
Christine Brown is super grateful to be around for all the big moments with baby Avalon Padron. However, it appears she can’t always see the tot whenever she wants. In her latest Instagram post, Christine, who goes by “Oma,” shared she had to beg Mykelti to let her babysit. Mykelti is such a hands-on mom, it seems she never wants to be away from her baby girl, and understandably so. Along with Truely, Christine got to spend some much-needed alone time with Avalon. Her followers loved seeing this.
“You’re exactly the kind of grandmother I would have hand picked for my kids. Your family is blessed to have you as their matriarch,” one commented. Another added: “The babies of our babies always make my day. Enjoy!” Christine is truly living her best life and it shows. Plus Avalon really does adore her Oma.
