‘Talent’ Goes Live, Mixing It Up in ‘Cocktail Wars,’ TCM Marks Robert Redford’s 90th

America’s Got Talent

The auditions are over, and the judges’ Golden Buzzers give way to America’s votes as the live shows begin, with results announced during special Wednesday episodes. The first 11 acts scheduled to bring it to the Hollywood Spotlight stage include singers Ashford Sanders and Brook Lynn, comedian Cris Sosa, musician/illusionists Hundred Fingers, mentalists James & Marina, the Jesse White Tumbling Team, rapper Luke Taleno, dog trainer Olivia Befus, dance trio Royal Lasers, dancer Sando, and the CommUNITY ATL Choir.

Cocktail Wars

We’ll have what they’re making. Expert mixologists who know their way around an exotic cocktail compete for a $10,000 prize in a competition hosted by *NSYNC buddies Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. Each week, three contestants shake and stir their concoctions in hopes of impressing ace mixologist Melissa Brooke and some very thirsty celebrity guest judges. Is that what they mean by raising the bar?

Summer Under the Stars

One of Hollywood’s most charismatic leading men, who passed away last September at 89, gets the “Summer Under the Stars” treatment with a 24-hour marathon of his movies. The lineup opens with Robert Redford’s first major film role in 1962’s War Hunt (6 am/5c) and includes his most romantic performances opposite Barbra Streisand in 1973’s The Way We Were (6 pm/5c) and Meryl Streep in 1985’s Best Picture Oscar winner Out of Africa (8/7c), followed by 1973’s The Sting (11/10c), which earned him his sole acting Oscar nomination. (He won an Oscar as director of 1980’s Ordinary People, which isn’t featured in the tribute.)

SEAL Team

The streaming giant Netflix acquires all seven seasons of the hit military drama, which aired on CBS from 2017 to 2024. David Boreanaz, who returns to network TV in 2027 in an NBC reboot of The Rockford Files, stars as the elite Bravo Team’s leader, Jason Hayes, who, with his crew, regularly faces danger in some of the world’s most perilous hotspots.

Return to Paradise

The Australian light mystery, a spinoff of Death in Paradise, wraps its second season with a happy occasion: the wedding of forensic pathologist Glenn Strong (Tai Hara) and his soulmate Daisy Dixon (Andrea Demetriades). It would be even happier if an uninvited guest hadn’t collapsed, poisoned by a wedding program. Yet another case for Scotland Yard transplant Mack Clarke (Anna Samson) to untangle.

INSIDE TUESDAY TV:

• Kitchen Nightmares (8/7c, Fox): Gordon Ramsay comes to the rescue of Michigan’s Boodles Restaurant, where the owner and his son disagree on the eatery’s future after 40 years in business. Followed by a new episode of Beat Shazam (9/8c).
• Kitchen Undercover (9/8c, Food Network): Chef Antonia Lofaso and her undercover sous chef, Nestor Milian, lend their expertise to help Ricci’s, an Italian restaurant that has been a favorite in Bellflower, California, since 1941, regain its luster under a new and inexperienced owner. The staff is put to the test when a nonna is invited to sample their food.
• Password (10/9c, NBC): Glee alum and Emmy and Tony winner Darren Criss matches wits with Jimmy Fallon in the word game, featuring a 1980s-themed round.

ON THE STREAM:

• Kelsey Cook: Happy Hour (streaming on Netflix): The comedian riffs on hard drinking, “hangxiety,” and airplane bathrooms in a pungent stand-up set.
• The Cases of Attorney Guerrieri (streaming on MHz Choice): A legal drama from Italy follows a skilled criminal lawyer tackling tough cases in the southern port city of Bari.
