Before the start of the school year, Tarek and Heather Rae El Moussa enjoyed one last family summer outing with their kids.
Heather and Tarek wed in 2021 and welcomed their son, Tristan, in 2023. Heather is also the stepmother of Tarek’s two elder children, Taylor and Brayden, whom he shares with his ex-wife, Christina Haack. In a Monday, August 17, Instagram post, Heather shared several sweet snaps from the family’s recent end-of-summer trip to Disneyland.
“Disney day with the family!!” she captioned the upload. “We weren’t expecting Tristan to be tall enough for a lot of the rides but he finally was! Our big boy got to ride the Cars ride for the first time & he’s such Cars lover too which made it so special to experience that with him. memories made.”
The post’s first slide featured a family photo of Tarek and Heather with Taylor and Brayden. Other slides included photos of Heather and other family members around the theme park, as well as a cute clip of Heather and Tarek taking Tristan on his first-ever “big boy ride” in the park’s Cars Land area.
Fans gushed over Heather’s sweet family photos in the post’s comments, with one user writing, “Oh my gosh, Tristan’s expression just taking everything in in awe on the cars ride is PRICELESS!!! You’ll look back at that video forever with the best memories!” Another added, “I love it! The entire family gets to join in on the fun.”
Someone else shared, “Wonderful family time and memories in the makin’!!” A separate commenter stated, “Adorable and adorable and adorable and much more!!!” A different person posted, “We were at the park that day, I was so exited to see you all. Tarek was so nice to talk to us, my daughter told me not to say anything dumb!! lol. What a wonderful example you guys are of a blended family!!”
Tarek, for his part, commented several red heart emojis. In a comment of her own, Haack called the photos “so cute!”
Heather followed up the Disneyland pics by sharing a photo of Brayden on his first day of school. “First day of 5th grade!!!” she captioned the Monday Instagram Story snap of Brayden holding a festive back-to-school sign. She tagged both Tarek and Heather in the post.

Heather, Tarek, and Christina will soon return to the small screen for Season 2 of their HGTV competition series, The Flip Off. In recent social media updates, Heather revealed that not only are the new episodes still being filmed, but she and Haack will not be teaming up for Season 2.
“Will you team up with Christina?” a fan asked Heather in an Instagram Story Q&A earlier this month. She replied, “No. I think you’ll definitely love a major twist that is in this season though. None of us saw this coming.” In another post, Heather teased, “Let’s be real, we’re always up to something together! You’ll have to wait and see this season.”
