Saturday, July 4, has been the rumored wedding date for a while. The details of the wedding are under wraps. One recent report claimed that the couple plans to marry at Madison Square Garden in New York City. But new activity at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island home sparked new rumors.
The singer purchased a $17.75 million home in Westerly, Rhode Island in 2013. She’s hosted July 4th parties there for years. But this year, the party could double as a wedding. Multiple outlets reported an increase in activity at the Rhode Island mansion.
It certainly makes more sense for the wedding to take place at her home in Rhode Island than a sports venue in New York City. The guest list reportedly includes a former friend despite a public falling out.

But the singer’s biggest falling out was with actress Blake Lively. Their relationship was allegedly harmed after Taylor Swift was dragged into her lawsuit against Justin Baldoni. Texts between the friends were leaked during the court battle, which has since been settled.
Sources told The Daily Mail that Blake Lively received an olive branch in the form of a wedding invitation. “Blake is on the cusp of getting a second chance, and they have had some loose conversations to test the waters to get the trust back. Blake is slowly getting back into the fold now that Taylor is having a change of heart,” the source said.
