The Crash Has Changed Mackenzie’s Life
When Mackenzie Shirilla wrecked her car on July 31, 2022, she killed two people, Dominic Russo and Davion Flanagan. The Strongsville, Ohio resident was hospitalized, and everyone was baffled as to how this happened. They knew Mackenzie and Dominic as a very happy couple who lived together, yet there was a very dark side to their romance. No one wanted to believe that she would have done this purposely, but the more that came out, the more it seemed this was intentional. She is now serving 15 years to life, yet is eligible for parole in 2037.
Her story is the subject of a Netflix documentary, The Crash, and it has taken the world by storm. That being said, Mackenzie has sought out the help of mogul and reality star Kim Kardashian. She is a big advocate for those who are falsely imprisoned. Moreover, she met with Gypsy Rose Blanchard as soon as she was released from prison. Allegedly, Mackenzie reached out to the 45-year-old and wants her to be her lawyer, as Kim completed her own form of law school:
“I don’t know. You have to figure out because I’m real nervous and I want Kim Kardashian to be my lawyer.”
She added that she was a huge SKIMS fan and wanted Kim Kardashian to know this. Moreover, Mackenzie hoped it would change her mind. First off, Kim is not a lawyer and has stated that she is taking a break from the bar exam. Secondly, an insider close to Kim noted that she works for people she believes were wrongfully accused. Or, those who have shown that they can rehabilitate themselves. In her opinion, this is not Mackenzie.
Fans Applaud Kim
After learning that Kim Kardashian is allegedly staying away from Mackenzie Shirilla and her case, fans were proud. They believed that she was smart not to get involved because this was a bad situation. Moreover, followers of the story do not see Mackenzie taking any accountability and simply using this for her own PR moment:
