Drew Barrymore is heading back to the small screen this fall.
CBS Media Ventures announced its lineup of September premieres on August 5, including the premiere date for Season 7 of The Drew Barrymore Show. The news comes as the series airs reruns as the cast and crew enjoy their annual summer break.
News of the show’s Season 7 renewal is no stranger to fans, as the show was greenlit for a seventh and eighth season back in March. The latter season will air during the 2027-2028 TV season.
“What matters most to us is our viewers and the people that come here,” Barrymore said in a statement to Entertainment Weekly at the time. “This show began as a space for intimate conversation, and we’re continuing to plant our flag as a truly multi-platform experience. We live in a world where people discover content in so many different ways, and from the very start in 2020, our mission was to break the mold rather than conform to the traditional daytime landscape.”
She added, “I hold myself accountable to staying savvy about how and where this show is seen — feeding every corner that counts, while daring to just be myself and figure out life with others. My curiosity about people is what fuels me. I’m so excited to continue as I see this endeavor as an opportunity and a gift.”
