Filming for the new season of The Price Is Right is underway. Model Manuela Arbeláez shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of her first day back on set.
She shared two photos on her Instagram Story on August 3. The first was a photo of the set. “We’re back!” she captioned it.
The shot featured the game show‘s iconic backdrop with the dollar sign symbol and bright lights. Then, behind the curtain that was lifted up, the Showcase wheel was seen folded up. A crew worker was seen pushing something behind the stage. On the wheel was a sign that said “Hero carpet” and a folded-up rug beneath it.
The second photo had Arbeláez holding host Drew Carey‘s long microphone. She stood backstage and snapped a photo of herself with a smile. “Season 55,” Arbeláez captioned the post. The model sat in a chair behind the set with a paper in front of her on what to do for the episodes she was filming.

Behind her were wires on the wall and a blue light projecting off of the curtain. The model wore a black sequin spaghetti-strap dress with a gold chain and dangly earrings.
This post came just a few days after Arbeláez shared that she was returning to the show for another season. The model had teased another project outside of the show, and fans were not sure if she was coming back.

“I feel like I utilized my long break away from The Price Is Right as good as I could have. I did a lot of traveling. Mostly I focused a lot on my passion project that is coming up. I will be launching that soon, in the next few weeks,” he told her followers on July 30.
So far, only Arbeláez, Devin Goda, and James O’Halloran have shared photos from the set. The other models — Alexis Gaube, Rachel Reynolds, and Amber Lancaster — have not mentioned anything about the upcoming season, but they are all expected to return.
A premiere date for Season 55 has not yet been announced, but filming has kicked off. The seasons typically start in late September.
