The Proud Household – First Look Images + Casting Information

BURBANK, Calif. (Might 12, 2021) – Billy Porter (“Pose”), Zachary Quinto (“Star Trek”) and EJ Johnson (“Wealthy Children of Beverly Hills”) have joined the forged of the upcoming Disney+ animated collection “The Proud Household: Louder and Prouder.” Porter and Quinto, respectively, voice Randall and Barry Leibowitz-Jenkins, mixed-race adoptive mother and father to 14-year-old activist Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, beforehand introduced to be voiced by Keke Palmer. Johnson will voice Michael Collins, Penny’s greatest man pal who’s a non-conforming trendsetter, serving up fierce appears at college and on the basketball courtroom. New character photographs have been launched at the moment.

“The Proud Household: Louder and Prouder” will choose up the story of its central character Penny Proud and in addition embody her madcap household: mother and father Oscar and Trudy, twin siblings BeBe and CeCe, and her grandmother Suga Mama (and Puff!). Forged members reprising their voice roles from the unique collection are: Kyla Pratt as Penny Proud, Tommy Davidson as Oscar Proud, Paula Jai Parker as Trudy Proud, JoMarie Payton as Suga Mama, Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby, Carlos Mencia as Felix Boulevardez, Maria Canals-Barrera as Sundown Boulevardez, Alvaro Gutierrez as Papi, Karen Malina White as Dijonay Jones, Soleil Moon Frye as Zoey Howzer and Alisa Reyes as LaCienega Boulevardez.

At the moment in manufacturing at Disney Tv Animation for a 2022 launch on Disney+, “The Proud Household: Louder and Prouder” is executive-produced by Bruce W. Smith (“The Princess and the Frog”) and Ralph Farquhar (“Moesha”), each of whom led the unique collection. Calvin Brown, Jr. (“Moesha”) is co-executive producer and story editor, Jan Hirota (“Large Hero 6 The Collection”) is producer, and Eastwood Wong (“Carmen Sandiego”) is artwork director.
