The Valley’s Nia Sanchez and her husband, Danny Booko, have been the target of a lot of hate this season. Especially because Danny has been drunkenly mean to his wife on the show. However, some people are taking it too far. Nia is speaking out against the death threats her husband is getting.
Should Nia Sanchez Leave Her Husband?
Nia and Danny’s relationship has been a hot topic all summer. After Danny continues to get drunk and turns into an entirely different person, fans urged Nia to leave him.
Nia has already shut this down, claiming she won’t throw away her marriage. She says they are working on making their marriage better and stronger.
“You don’t just throw away – marriage is and can be forever as long as both people are willing to really work on it. So, when people are like, “Leave him,” I’m like, “Y’all saw some fights, and they were not okay for sure.” Let’s acknowledge that. But like, so divorce your husband? No. Okay. No, no, no. We’re going to work on this and become better and stronger. It’s not something you just throw in the trash.”
However, now, it’s getting worse. People are no longer telling her to leave her husband; they’ve moved on to other extremes.
The Valley Star Gets Death Threats
According to Reality Blurb, people are now sending Danny death threats or even suggesting that he kill himself. Obviously, Nia has a huge issue with this.
“Honestly, it makes me wonder what’s wrong with people because he’s gotten death threats,” she says. “He has told people — or people have told him—’You should just like, you know, go in the back and take yourself out so that your kids and wife can be happier.’”
Clearly, Nia doesn’t agree with this. After all, not many people would be happy if their husband died. Instead, she wonders what’s wrong with the people suggesting these things.
“That is so heartbreaking to me that that is like what people feel comfortable saying to another human being,” she continues.
Danny Opens Up
It’s not as if Danny doesn’t realize he has a problem. The reality TV star took to his own social media to share a heartfelt message with his wife. Clearly, he’s having a hard time seeing himself act in such a way.
“Watching these last few episodes back hasn’t been easy,” he said. “It was a difficult season of life and a version of myself that I’m embarrassed by and not proud of. A short fuse, stress, alcohol, and lack of sleep are never a good combination, but that’s not an excuse. I should never have taken any of it out on you,” he writes.
Only time will tell if they are able to heal their relationship.
