‘The Valley’ Season 1 Reunion Up In The Air

TV Shows

A reunion for Season 1 of the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley, is currently up in the air. Initially, before the series even began airing, Jax Taylor joked that they would need security. Now, it seems there may not be a reunion to secure. Keep reading for more details.

The Valley Season 1 Reunion Up In The Air

Before The Valley even premiered, there was drama with the cast. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright announced they had separated. Though it seemed clear they were struggling in their four-and-a-half-year marriage, the timing seemed off. Some felt that it was a publicity stunt to get people to watch the show but they assured their followers it most certainly was not. Then, days before the show was set to air, co-stars Jesse and Michelle Lally split, as well. Jax had said, in mid-February, on his and Brittany’s When Reality Hits podcast, that the spinoff was filled with so much drama.

More so, he and his now-estranged wife felt that they would need security at the reunion. Well, according to Kristen Doute, who appears on the show with her boyfriend, Luke Broderick, there may not even be one. She spoke on her and Luke’s April 27th episode of their podcast, Balancing Act about this, per Us Weekly.

“We do not know if we are going to have a reunion. I’m gonna be honest with you.”

However, she actually was excited for that part of the show. This is something she is no stranger to, having filmed eight reunions for Vanderpump Rules. Kristen noted that a reunion is “uncertain at this point” which may be a bummer for diehard fans of the freshman reality series. Luke already had a plan for how he was going to approach his first reunion:

“I kind of was. My plan was to smoke a joint first and go chill out. I would be lounging in the chair and I guess would chime in when it was my time.”

For Kristen, this is frustrating because she shared that a lot is still to come on The Valley that she does not want to leave unaddressed:

“I was too because I do feel like when you see the finale, there are some things left unanswered and unresolved.”

Moving On

Despite the reunion being up in the air, The Valley cast is doing their best to move on from the drama. Jesse and Michelle Lally were clearly not happy in their marriage during the season. They have since found new partners with Jesse stepping out with his new girlfriend over the weekend. Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright were in Washington for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. However, they are just friends and are continuing to live separately.

Would you like to see a reunion for the show? More so, would it feel strange if the season ended with no resolution? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below and watch The Valley Tuesdays on Bravo.
