Prince Harry recently made headlines during an interview following his return to the United Kingdom. Since then, the co-hosts of The View weighed in on the story. One co-host in particular, Ana Navarro, felt that questioned the way Harry made a certain plea to his family.
Prince Harry Recently Sat Down To An Interview With GQ‘s One More Question With Zach Baron
The Duke of Sussex and his spouse, Meghan Markle, officially stepped away from their roles as senior working members of the British royal family back in 2020. Around this time, they had relocated to the United States.
However, back in August, the two recently made their return to the United Kingdom. Since then, Prince Harry has discussed the decision to make the move during an October 2026 GQ interview, as part of their One More Question series.

While speaking with Zach Baron, Harry expressed a desire to patch things up with his family. He shared, “With everything else that’s going on in the world, the most important thing is to reconcile. That’s the key point.”
A Few Of Ana Navarro’s Were A Bit More Sympathetic Towards The Duke Of Sussex
The prince’s comments during the interview soon became a topic of discussion on The View. In particular, Ana Navarro shared, “I think that a lot of the problem has been exacerbated by the fact that it’s been played out in public. So much of the dirty laundry has been aired out in public. Surely, they have relatives in common, friends in common.”
As Navarro expressed, it might have been better to share these feelings in private to help facilitate bringing the family together. She noted, “I just think that if he had delivered that message privately right now, it might go further than continuing to do it publicly, because there’s been a breach of trust, and there’s been a lot of hurt on both sides.”

Navarro reiterated, “It needs to be dealt with privately, not with interviews and tell-all books and selling documentaries and things like that.” Ultimately, she felt that Harry’s the one who needs to take the next step. She continued, “At some point he’s going to need to pick up the phone or go see his brother and have it out.”
One of Navarro’s co-stars felt that things might have been more complicated than they appear. Sunny Hostin mused that Harry might have already attempted to reconnect with his family. She shared, “I suspect one of the reasons he is publicly saying he wants to reconcile is so that they hear it.” For her part, Whoopi Goldberg also expressed hope for a reconciliation for the royal family.
