All About Theresa Nist’s Late Husband
Theresa Nist was married to Billy and he passed away nine years ago. His name was William “Billy” Nist. During her first date with Gerry Turner, Theresa talked about him. His wife passed away as well, so this was a great way for these two to bond. It could be a bit of what helped her make it to the final two of The Golden Bachelor.
Billy had issues with his kidneys. At one point, he had hopes for a transplant, but that didn’t end up happening for him. They had two children together Thomas “Tommy” Nist, 46, and Jennifer Woolston, 38. You can see a picture of her son and his family below that Theresa shared on her Instagram page.
Theresa’s Touching Tribute To Late Husband
Theresa Nist went to her Instagram and shared a very sweet tribute for her late husband. She can relate to Gerry a lot because they have both lost a spouse. In this tribute, she said:
“Billy and I met when I was 14 and he was 16. We got married at 18 and 20. He was stationed in Berlin during the Vietnam war. I took my first plane ride and we lived there for almost a year. Living in Berlin, I realize now and at the time, was a once in the lifetime experience.
Billy passed away nine years ago today. Remembering my late husband and remembering all the veterans who served our country so that we could be free, not to do whatever we please, but to do the right thing.”
With just one episode of The Golden Bachelor left, it is going to be interesting to see if Theresa or Leslie ends up winning Gerry Turner’s heart. It is down to just two women trying to be the one who ends up engaged in the end.
