Tim McGraw has had a rather fun time interacting with fans of 1883 as the show’s seasons has gone on. However, it seems rather likely that his most recent post got a more emotional reaction than he expected.
Of course, it really shouldn’t surprise anyone that the post generated emotion. After all, the show has stirred plenty of emotions over its run.
Emotion Is The Name Of The Game
Viewers have been treated to all sorts of emotions this season. The show, which depicts traveling down the Oregon Trail from Texas has tried to be plenty realistic. That means that people have suffered.
Even more people have died.
One of the things that the Yellowstone spinoff has managed to do very well is that it doesn’t appear that main characters are kept safe. While the vast majority of people who have been killed off on Tim McGraw’s show are indeed those we’ve only met for a short time, there’s also been plenty of danger to befall the stars of the show.
The series even opened with Elsa Dutton, who actually narrates the action, looking as though she’s a goner. She gets an arrow through the abdomen before the audience really even knows what’s going on.
With that front and center, it should surprise no one that people have had a hard time with some of the episodes. It’s helped that the characters have all been well fleshed out. The actors have done their job well.
The audience of the Yellowstone spinoff is emotionally attached. That emotional attachment made the star of the show’s latest post hit a little bit harder.
Certainly, the fact that the post got people’s emotions going is a good thing. It shows the program is going strong and only getting more popular.
Tim McGraw Stirs Emotions With His Latest Post
The country singer turned actor didn’t have to say much in order to get a reaction. He just had to remind people that the first season of 1883 is coming to an end.
He posted a short video showing the most harrowing events from the series with an equally short caption.
“Episode 9 out now!!” he wrote. “Only one left after this! #1883”
It was the fact that there is one episode left in the season that really got people reacting.
In fact, one could say there was a bit of an outcry when they realized this coming Sunday is the season finale.
“So so many emotions with Episode 9,” one fan wrote.
“Need more episodes,” wrote another. “Been a long time since I’ve enjoyed a show this much. Superb acting by all the cast!”
One particular user wanted Tim McGraw to know that while 1883 is technically a spinoff, it’s surpassing what it spun off.
“Possibly unpopular opinion but I like this better than Yellowstone,” the fan posted.
