With the twenty-year Laguna Beach reunion having premiered on Roku on April 10th, the cast has made its rounds. They have walked red carpets and stopped by talk shows for an incredible amount of press. One cast member swung by the Today Show but was abruptly stopped amid a wardrobe malfunction. Laguna Beach Is Back
When Laguna Beach premiered in 2004, it blew up all over MTV. Viewers wanted to dress and speak just like the cast. It ran for three seasons and launched The Hills and The City. Moreover, it launched the careers of Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari, and Lauren Conrad. The cast is well aware that they may not have had the careers they currently have had it not been for this series. After twenty years, the cast reunited for a Roku special, and the nostalgia hit very hard. A lot of press has been done, and they are stopping by the hottest talk shows for candid conversations.
Lo Bosworth could not do as much press for the reunion as she is a new mother and needed a postpartum surgery. However, living in New York City allowed the Laguna Beach alum to stop by the Today Show, where she chatted with Al Roker. She appeared during the third hour on Friday, April 10th, 2026, and donned a tight pony and a long floral dress. While speaking, it seemed that one of her accessories was causing an issue, which Al Roker picked up on. Her gold necklace had become intertwined with her microphone, leading to static distraction. Al soon chimed in:
“You know what, Lo, could you take your necklace and maybe just put it inside your dress because it’s rubbing against your microphone?”
Lo was taken aback by how he wanted her to fix this in the moment. Yet, his co-host, Laura Jarrett, noted that Al had her “back.” The Love Wellness founder expressed gratitude that the meteorologist was there for her. He added that people at home were wondering what was wrong with their televisions
A New Chapter
Things are drastically different for the cast of Laguna Beach, as seen on the reunion. Many have moved away, such as Lo Bosworth. She could not attend the actual reunion taping due to her pregnancy. However, her LB best friend, Lauren ‘LC’ Conrad, made her way to NYC to drop off baby gifts. She also appeared via Zoom so that she could see her former classmates and reconnect with everyone. Today Show viewers loved seeing Al Roker help Lo have a better interview and respected what a gentleman he is and always has been.
