Jenna Bush Hager talked about questions and interviews during a recent episode of Today. In fact, she surprised her guest by mentioning a recent job interview of her own. Meanwhile, the guest gave fans advice on how to ask the questions that get the best results.
Podcaster Nayeema Raza Was A Recent Guest On Today With Jenna & Sheinelle
Jenna first gained national attention at a young age as the daughter of former U.S. President George W. Bush. She is also the granddaughter of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush.
Since then, Jenna has established herself as a broadcast journalist, notably working for Today, joining the program in 2009 as a correspondent. Notably, she and Sheinelle Jones currently co-host the program’s fourth hour.
During a recent episode of Today, Jenna interviewed podcaster Nayeema Raza. At the time, the two discussed the ways people can have good conversations.
At one point, the topic of job interviews became part of the discussion. This caused Jenna to make an admission: “At the end of a job interview – I just did one…”

This ended up giving Nayeema a shock. She then asked Jenna if she was leaving the show. After the interruption, Jenna assured, “No, no, no, no, no!” She explained, “I was interviewing somebody.”
Jenna continued, noting the types of questions people are asked during modern job interviews. These include asking applicants about their expectations for these jobs and what would disappoint them. She ultimately mused that people are asked these questions simply “because we have forever.”
Jenna asked her guest what would be better alternatives to these types of questions. For her part, Nayeema advised asking questions about things that were already brought up during the interview. In general, asking the right questions was the main theme of the conversation, with Raza also offering advice to parents about the right questions to ask their kids to help them open up.
