Today: Kathie Lee Gifford Panics Over Lost Furbaby
Despite being 70 years old, the former talk show host still considers hitting the gym to be extremely important. So, it was no surprise when she was spotted leaving her Franklin, Tennessee home this past weekend to hit the gym. She was reportedly headed to the gym to attend a 30-minute fitness class.
The Today Show alum Kathie Lee Gifford left her home with her Maltipoo in tow. Eyewitnesses, however, told The Sun that Kathie’s furbaby was not on a leash when she exited her home.
Eyewitnesses reveal the former talk show host walked one way while her unleashed dog went in the other direction. Realizing that her dog was not with her, Kathie turned and yelled for her furbaby to turn around and join her. Her furbaby opted not to listen and continued going the wrong way.
Kathie Lee Gifford slipped into a frantic state of panic as she turned and bolted in the other direction. She chased after to capture her furbaby before the dog got lost or injured.

Did She Save Her Dog?
Fortunately, the eyewitness confirms to The Sun that Kathie Lee Gifford was able to catch up to her furbaby. She scooped her dog up into her arms and the situation immediately calmed down. Shortly after the ordeal, she was joined by her boyfriend. The eyewitness adds that The Today Show alum still had her furbaby in her arms when she went into the gym for her workout.

As fans know, the man who met up with her before going into the gym was her businessman boyfriend, Richard Spitz. Kathie and Richard have been an item for roughly two years now. Richard, who is seven years younger than the talk show alum, lives in the same gated community with Kathie Lee.
Fans of The Today Show are relieved Kathie Lee Gifford was able to catch up to her furbaby before anything bad happened. They, however, question why someone felt the need to invade this scary moment by capturing it on video.
