Todd Chrisley Has Been Estranged From Lindsie Since 2023
For years, Todd Chrisley has had a rocky relationship with his eldest daughter, Lindsie. They began to struggle in 2017 when she exited the family’s reality series, Chrisley Knows Best. Yet, they were able to put their drama behind them when she was going through her divorce. Unfortunately, she was blamed for helping to put Todd and Julie Chrisley behind bars. Thus, the estrangement was back on. That included her son, Jackson, who was an innocent bystander.
They have not spoken since 2023, when Todd and Julie reported to prison, although they were released in 2025. Now, they have a lot to celebrate. Savannah Chrisley is married to Jason Galanis and expecting her first baby, a boy. The gender reveal was filmed, and the Chrisleys were beaming. That led some fans to slam Todd for acting like this was his only grandchild; moreover, that it was his only grandchild. What about Jackson? He appeared to hear what people were saying and broke his silence about his estranged grandson:
“I have not been afforded that luxury of having a relationship with Jackson that did not consist of huge boundaries and walls and whatever.”
Todd Chrisley added that he chooses not to speak about Jackson solely “out of respect.” At the same time, Jackson allegedly posted a comment wondering if Todd and Julie would act like he was not their grandson. To that, Todd had this to say:
“Well that’s not true, darling, because you are my grandson and I worship you. And in time, as you get older, if it’s God’s will, I hope that you and I will at some point be able to have a relationship.”
Lindsie Takes The High Road
After Lindsie Chrisley heard what Todd Chrisley had to say, she simply congratulated her sister on her pregnancy. Moreover, she did not understand all of the slander aimed at Savannah’s happy news, but she was supportive nonetheless. Maybe this baby can be the healer for the family and bring everyone back together, but time will tell. It is sad that Jackson is suffering because of his grandfather’s and mother’s personal issues. Hopefully, they can remedy it sooner rather than later.
