It hasn’t been confirmed how far Tom makes it on the show. Last season, if a task was too hard for you, then you could rip off your armband and ask to be sent home. Not many people were able to make it to the end, so it will be interesting to see if Sandoval is tough enough and if he will make it to the end of the show or not.
