Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married a few months ago. However, details continue to spill out about the wedding as time goes on. Now, Travis is dishing out even more about the night. As it turns out, guests were kicked out of Madison Square Garden. Keep reading to find out what happened.
Taylor Swift And Travis Kelce’s Wedding
It’s been a wild summer. After Taylor and Travis tied the knot at an extremely over-the-top Madison Square Garden wedding, fans have been desperate for any details. Most things about the star-studded event have been kept on the DL. However, Travis continues to chat about the wedding casually, giving fans a small glimpse into the big day.
Of course, many fans wondered why they would choose MSG in the first place. Most expected Taylor to want a wedding out of the spotlight, in a garden somewhere. However, MSG was the total opposite of that. Apparently, they have a good reason for choosing the venue that they did. While the venue was huge, apparently they were able to make it very intimate while still holding their large guest count.
“We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,” Travis explains. “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”
Despite the venue being so big, they still had a great party. So much so, they even ended up kicking guests out.
The Party Of A Lifetime
One thing is consistent as Travis spills more and more details about his big day. That’s just how much fun he had and how thankful they are to everyone who came.
“Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man,” he says, according to Yahoo!.
While talking with his brother, Jason Kelce, on his podcast, he revealed that the night was over faster than he expected. He says that it “could have lasted even longer.”
He goes on to explain that it was over “in the blink of an eye.”
Jason chimes in, adding, “They kicked us out!”
Clearly, it really was a great party if they shut the venue down at the end of the night!
