With Season 3 of Renovation Aloha complete, Tristyn and Kamohai Kalama are enjoying summer by spending time with their loved ones.
The HGTV couple, who wed in 2015, share two kids: daughter Yasiel and son Vale. In a Tuesday, August 4, Instagram post, Tristyn and Kalama gave fans a glimpse into how their family has been spending their summer break so far.
“July camera roll,” the duo captioned the upload, the first slide of which featured a sweet photo of Tristyn and Kamohai posing together by the ocean. Among the post’s many slides were photos of the family spending time together at the beach, playing and cuddling with their new puppy, watching World Cup matches, taking funny selfies, and working on home renovation projects.
Fans gushed over the family’s fun summer photos in the post’s comments, with one user writing, “Really Great pictures of the family. You’re making Awesome Memories together. But [look] at the Puppy. He has this Month of July all wrap He Wins Best Show !!!!” Another added, “Wonderful show. Beautiful family. Love love love the pic with your dog belly up. So cute! Can’t wait for the next season. God bless you all!”
Someone else shared, “Wonderful show with wonderful people…mahalo.” A different person posted, “It kills me how much baby girl looks like mom.” A separate commenter stated, “I really love you guys! When I watch you guys, you make me enjoy life so much! Your family connection, your love for your community. I feel like I’m a part of your family. You are so much more than a home renovation show, you’re a family that’s so welcoming!”
This summer has been jam-packed for the Kalamas both on and off the screen. In addition to Renovation Aloha Season 3 wrapping up in June, Tristyn and Kamohai also appeared as judges on Season 5 of Battle on the Beach, which ended on July 13.
In June, Tristyn and Kamohai celebrated their son Vale’s 8th birthday. “Our son, You are such a joy and blessing. You are so smart, kind, ambitious, talented, and head strong. You make us proud everyday,” they captioned a sweet Instagram tribute on June 3. “Lord, please slow down time..we can’t believe it’s been 8 years with you! Happy Birthday. Love your parents.”
Later that month, the TV personalities added a new member to their family with the adoption of their puppy. “We got Biggy Boy a puppy! Koa Bule Bear Kalama,” they wrote alongside an adorable Instagram video on June 22.
Recently, the Kalamas celebrated the upcoming arrival of a new family member at a baby shower for Tristyn’s brother, Travis Haxton, and his pregnant wife, Taylor Haxton. “Baby shower day for @taylor.haxton + @travis.haxton,” they captioned Instagram snaps from the party on July 20. “We can’t wait to meet you Jaxon.”
