Val Chmerkovskiy has been slammed by fans for ‘cultural appropriation’. This is something that fans were not happy about. Val shared a picture of him with cornrows in. However, this did not sit well with a lot of people.

Val then ended up taking the cornrows out. He revealed that he did not want to put any kind of light on Jenna just because of his hair. However, he did say that they would be going back in when the show is over. While he did not apologize for doing anything, taking his hair out was a good step.

It seems as though a lot of people did not like that Val was trying to do cornrows in his hair. They felt as though this was not appropriate, and they let him know. Val ended up taking them out, as he did not want to affect Jenna in any way, shape, or form. However, he did let fans know that he was going to be putting them back in when the show was over.
