Wizards Beyond Waverly Place conjured up a shocking Season 3 after Mason (Gregg Sulkin) was revealed to have died, and Billie (Janice LeAnn Brown) was reunited with her parents, Alex (Selena Gomez) and Damien (Brandon Micheal Hall), but is that where the story ends?
Along with the return of Mason, OG fans got to see Alex and Harper (Jennifer Stone) reunite. Maria Canals-Barrera returned as Alex’s beloved mom, Theresa Russo.
Billie broke into Wizcatraz with Justin (David Henrie) to break out her dad. Once he was freed, they focused on finding Alex. She was stuck in a dream world with Harper and Mason, and when he told her he was dead and she just needed to wake up, Alex was transported to a desolate realm with nothing in it.
Eventually, Damien returned to the Russos’ home and opened up a portal for both Alex and Justin to escape after they were fighting off his dad, Nicodemus Penwulf. Everyone was reunited, and the Penwulfs went back to the wizarding world.

Is Wizards Beyond Waverly Place returning for Season 4?
Sadly, no. The Disney Channel spinoff is not returning for another season. The four-part Season 3 was the end.
Will there be a Wizards Beyond Waverly Place spinoff or movie?
Although nothing has been confirmed, the cast has said that they would love to return for any sequels/prequels/or movies. Henrie expressed interest in making a movie about the Wizard competition between the kids. Brown and Hall want to explore their family’s dynamics and how Damien got into prison/his origins. Sulkin is interested in exploring how Mason died and what he was up to in between the original series and sequel. Stone would love to have a spinoff of what Harper is up to during Wizards Beyond.

Aside from Henrie, Brown, and Gomez, who were staples in all three seasons, WBWP also starred Mimi Gianopulos as Giada, Alkaio Thile as Roman, Max Matenko as Milo, and Taylor Cora as Winter.
Sulkin, Stone, and Canals-Barrera had guest roles in Season 3, with Canals-Barrera and David DeLuise as Jerry Russo, appearing in earlier seasons as well.
