The Wheel of Fortune hosts and crew are so excited to be back on set… or are they? Fans reacted to their reactions to starting Season 44 in a new video.
“Can’t you tell how excited we are?! #wheeloffortune #season44 #september14,” the Instagram post was captioned on August 26. “Asking everyone how they feel about being back on set (but with the crying filter).”
The new season is set to kick off on September 14, as per the post, and everyone is just so excited, they are crying. The video started off with social correspondent Maggie Sajak, sitting in her dressing room.
“I’m so excited. We have real cool stuff this season,” she said. “I’m really happy.” She giggled. However, Sajak didn’t look too happy as the filter made it look like she was on the brink of tears.
“Beyond beyond!” host Ryan Seacrest said. “I am so thrilled to be back here with the family at Wheel of Fortune. Can’t you tell? I’m beaming.” However, the host was not beaming.
“I am so excited! Just wait. It’s going to be a great year!” Vanna White said.
Various crew members were jumping for joy and “smiling from ear to ear.” Others said they were waiting all summer to get back on set. Despite their positive words, no one in the video had a happy face, but that was all due to a filter.
Fans couldn’t help but laugh at the filter and the cast and crew’s opposite words. “I LOVE THIS SO MUCH,” one game show fan said with laughing emojis.
“I’m laughing til I cry!” another wrote.
“I’m so uncomfortable, yet happy,” a third added.
“Omg this is gold! Good job social team!” a fan said.
“Hilarious,” another commented.
