Ryan Seacrest knows how to have fun when it comes to his TV show hosting gigs, even if it’s at someone else’s expense. After a Wheel of Fortune audience member got a little silly on camera, Ryan was sure to call her out. Keep reading to find out what went down.
Ryan Seacrest On Wheel Of Fortune
Ryan Seacrest, best known as a producer and TV personality, became the official host of Wheel of Fortune back in 2024. The show first came out in 1975 and has since become incredibly popular. Pat Sajak was the original host of the show and was very well known and beloved. However, he did have to retire in 2024 after being the face of the show for decades. That’s when Ryan stepped in and has been hosting ever since.
Ryan had large shoes to fill given just how loved Pat was. However, the show structure stayed relatively the same and even kept the iconic Vana White on to reveal letters. She has been on the show since 1982. Since he joined, Ryan has won over fans with his bubbly personality and love for having fun.
On a recent episode of the show, he got carried away with his fun and ended up calling out an audience member for being so excited.
Making Fun Of An Audience Member
On the October 2 episode of Wheel of Fortune, a contestant named Brandon Bethel took on the game, TV Insider reports, and he did pretty well for himself. He was the overall winner for the episode, taking home $22,998 in addition to a trip to Chile and Argentina. However, his prize could’ve been much bigger.
Brandon made it to the bonus round, but he simply couldn’t figure it out. Because of this, he lost out on an additional $55,000. While his prize is great, it could’ve been even better if he could’ve figured out the bonus round.
This is where Ryan’s wacky antics come in, though. Brandon had his friends with him during the bonus round. One of his friends, Tiffany, seems to be very happy that she was on TV. While Albert, Brandon’s other friend, gave the camera a small wave, Tiffany was the total opposite. She was very enthusiastic when she said ‘hi’ to the camera.
Ryan was seemingly very amused by her excitement and even told her to “do that again.”
Of course, she did what Ryan asked and did it again. He replied to her, saying, “Made our day.”
It seems like Ryan is really having a great time as the Wheel of Fortune host!
