Daytime TV fans won’t have to wait much longer until Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are back to hosting live shows.
Live With Kelly and Mark noticeably aired prerecorded episodes last week and returned with another pre-filmed episode on Monday, June 22. Last week’s shows opened with new conversations between Ripa and Consuelos, new “Stump Mark” and “Travel Trivia” segments, and featured a mix of new and previously aired interviews. On Monday, Abbott Elementary star William Stanford Davis joined Ripa and Consuelos in the studio for a fun chat about the ABC sitcom.
There’s a simple reason why the daytime talk show has been on a break from live shows: The Live cast and crew are currently on their annual summer vacation. A production source tells TV Insider that Live will continue to air prerecorded episodes featuring new content and celebrity interviews throughout the week.
Per the show’s official website, this week’s lineup of guests includes Malin Akerman, Paul Walter Hauser, Mariah Carey, Eugene Levy, Rose Byrne, Tim Allen, Jessica Chastain, Minnie Driver, Sebastian Maniscalco, and more.
The series will return with new, live episodes starting on Monday, June 29, and will kick off the week with celebrity guests Michelle Buteau and Mr. Fantasy.

Live viewers are no strangers to the show airing prerecorded episodes, as the series typically airs pre-filmed episodes on Thursdays and Fridays. The talk show went on a brief break around the same time last year as the show’s stars and crew enjoyed some time off.
Following last year’s break, the show’s social media pages shared an adorable video of Ripa and Consuelos reuniting with their dog, Lena, on the show’s set. “Reunited with Lena after vacation,” Live’s TikTok page captioned the clip.
In the clip, Ripa joked to audience members, “Mark was petting every dog that he saw on vacation. He was like, ‘We have a dog,’ to random strangers.”
While last week’s Live episodes were prerecorded, Ripa and Consuelos still managed to celebrate their daughter, Lola, on the show for her birthday. “Guess what today is, everybody! It is Tuesday, June 16, 2026. It is our daughter’s 25th birthday,” Ripa announced at the top of the series’ June 16 episode. Consuelos added, “Happy birthday, Lola!” (Lola is the second eldest of the couple’s three children, including sons Michael and Joaquin.)
“She lives in London. She won’t even see this,” Ripa joked before stating, “Happy Birthday. You are our favorite daughter.” Consuelos stated, “We love you.”
As the hosting duo enjoys their summer vacation, Kelly took to Instagram on Sunday, June 21, to honor her husband, her father, Joseph Ripa, and her late father-in-law, Saul Consuelos, on Father’s Day. (Mark announced during Live‘s April 6 episode that his dad had passed away two weeks prior.)
“Let’s hear it for the DADS today!” she captioned the upload, which featured a slideshow of photos of the three with family over the years. “These three have impacted our lives so greatly, and especially dad Consuelos who lives on in our memories and in our hearts.”
