Conner Leavitt was cast on Season 35 of Dancing With The Stars. His wife, Whitney, was on the season prior and made it far. However, Conner danced his heart out on the premiere. Unfortunately, he was eliminated. Conner was the first contestant sent home, and this was shocking. However, a lot of people do not like Conner and held his past actions against him. So, he did not have the fan votes to take him further. Fans have also blamed Adele for not doing good choreography. This did not help Conner stay in the competition.
Whitney Leavitt Originally Rejects Traitors Role, Changes Mind Why?
Whitney Leavitt is going to be on the next season of The Traitors. However, she originally rejected the role. This was because she wanted her husband to have his moment on Dancing With The Stars. Once he was eliminated, she decided to join.
“She wanted him to have his moment to shine, so she gave up her spot on the show so he could do something on his own. When Conner was first to go home on the DWTS season, Whitney called up producers and told them she can do it now, so she was a very last-minute addition. She wouldn’t have been able to do it if Conner wasn’t the first to get the boot on DWTS.”
While this was not what they wanted for Conner, it ended up working out for Whitney. She was able to do the show and Conner got to do DWTS. It was the best of both worlds, besides Conner getting eliminated so soon.
It seems as though Whitney wanted Conner to have his time to shine. She was not going to take that away from him. Someone had to be with their children, and she wanted to support her husband. So, she rejected the role. However, once he was eliminated, she thought about it again. Whitney then decided that she did, in fact, want to do the show, so she joined.
