The first night of Live Shows on Season 21 of America’s Got Talent is here as the lives begin on the August 18 episode. Eleven of the 44 Quarterfinal acts will take the stage to perform for viewer votes for the first time.
One of the night one performers is Brook Lynn, who received four yes votes during her audition, then earned her spot in the Quarterfinals thanks to the new Judges’ Callback Round. She recently teased on Instagram that she’ll be singing an original song for her Quarterfinals performance.

Who is Brook Lynn?
Brook Lynn is an aspiring singer. She released her first original song, “Empty,” in September 2025 and is now hoping to take the next step in her music career on AGT.
Although Brook Lynn developed a passion for singing as a child, her nerves kept her from performing anywhere besides her home. She began taking singing lessons at age 16 and expanded her musical education while studying at Podiumacademie in the Netherlands.
It was here that she began coming out of her shell as a performer, leading her to dream of making it big in the United States.
Where is Brook Lynn from?
Brook Lynn is Dutch and hails from Wilp, the Netherlands. When she auditioned for America’s Got Talent, it was her first time in the United States.

Brook Lynn was 23 years old at the time of her AGT audition.
What did Brook Lynn sing on AGT?
For her audition, Brook Lynn sang “The Greatest” by Billie Eilish. Sofia Vergara, Simon Cowell, Mel B., and Howie Mandel all voted to send her through for a chance at making the Live Shows.
From that group of around 100 acts, Brook Lynn wasn’t one of the people automatically selected to move forward. However, she got to perform again as one of Vergara’s callback acts. This time, she performed “Bring Me to Life” by Evanescence, and Vergara chose her to move on to the next round.
