Chessy’s final words in Descendants: Wicked Wonderland had everyone immediately wondering about Descendants 6. “Oh, you don’t think that was the end of the story, did you? Of course not! That would be too sweet!” the mischievous cat hissed.
The fifth film in the Descendants franchise premiered on July 16 and followed Red (Kylie Cantrall), Chloe (Malia Baker), Pink (Liamani Segura), and more Descendants kids on a new adventure in Wonderland. While the movie ended with a happily-ever-after, Pink’s mysterious discovery and Chessy’s hint are clear signs that Descendants 6 could be on the horizon. TV Insider asked the Descendants: Wicked Wonderland cast about their hopes for a sixth movie.
“I would really love to see Pink evil. That’s one thing. I would love to see her evil,” Segura said. “I already know it’s going to eat.”
She also noted that she wants to venture out of Wonderland and go to Neverland, the home of Peter Pan and Captain Hook. “I think it would be fun to meet my dad,” Kiara Romero, who plays Hazel Hook, chimed in.
This sparked a hilarious idea from Alexandro Byrd, who plays Luis Madrigal: Descendants: Who’s Your Daddy? Both Byrd and Romero had actors they’d love to see play their onscreen dads. Javier Bardem for Captain Hook, and Lin-Manuel Miranda as Luis’ dad. Dream big!

As for Brandy, Rita Ora, and Leonardo Nam, who play Disney parents Cinderella, Queen of Hearts, and Maddox Hatter, they want more scenes together in a sixth movie. Brandy and Ora both agreed on their hope for “more songs” and adventures for the besties. “I think we should be more into the kids’ business,” Brandy mentioned, before adding, “I’m trying to get into some of the choreography.” (Give Brandy what she wants, Disney!)
When asked about adventures outside of Wonderland in Descendants 6, Nam said, “I’d love to go underwater.” For Brandy, that was a hard no. “You know I’m not trying to get my hair wet,” she said. As for Neverland, the entire trio was very intrigued.
